Claims Advisor

Annual Salary: £23,500

Location: Morley

Job Type: Mon – Fri 37.5

Reed is proud to be exclusively working with our client in their search for a Claims Advisor to join their successful team. Operating since the 1980’s our client provides first class service to the motor trade industry, administering warranty programmes to some of the most respected names in the industry.

Unlike other companies in their industry, our client boasts a 30 year’ history of continuously and consistently servicing their clients throughout the UK, and therefore hold an impressive reputation. The ideal candidate will have experience in claims handling and management, preferably within the insurance industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

Review and process warranty claims submitted by customers in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Investigate claims to determine coverage eligibility based on company policies and customer warranties.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and documentation to support claim decisions.
  • Communicate claim decisions to customers, service providers, and relevant stakeholders professionally and efficiently, including via email, webchat, WhatsApp, and dash.
  • Provide guidance and support to other Claims Advisors in handling claims and escalations.
  • Analyse claim trends and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of claims, resolutions, and customer interactions in the company database.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance claims handling skills and knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer queries and complaints.
  • Experience in Claims Handling and Claims Management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of Insurance and Insurance Claims processes.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in Claims Management or Insurance would be beneficial but is not required.
