SalaryGlobal broker that are very much in growth mode, seeking to recruit an experienced cross class Claims Handler to expand their Sheffield team. They are seeking a career focussed individual with a desire to develop and progress their career.
The role will involve picking up a variety of commercial claims including Property, EL/PL, Fleet, PI, D&O, Cyber. Working on behalf a range of businesses of all sizes. You will be managing claims from start to finish, effectively managing your own allocation of clients. You will advise clients on how to make claims, log new notifications, and update all records accurately on the system. On a daily basis you will liaise with Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Surveyors and internal colleagues, and keep the client informed on the progress of the claim. You may also be expected to attend face to face meetings with clients when required to discuss their claims account, risk improvement and mitigation.
Our client is looking for someone who has a solid cross class commercial claims background. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are the key skills for this role, along with the ability to deal with customers calmly and sympathetically with a passion to provide excellent client service. You’ll strive to maintain the highest standards in your work, by having a keen eye for detail and pinpoint accuracy
