We are currently working in partnership with an ever-growing insurance firm based in the Harrogate area looking for a Claims handler to join the team.
In your role you will be working closely with the sales and operations team to ensure that clients receive the best service following a claim.
Working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday 9-5pm. Paying £25,000-30,000 depending on experience.
What you will be doing;
- Proactively managing a motor case load ensuring correct cover is in place
- Processing claims information within agreed SLAs
- Reviewing liability
- Liaising with customers and insurers keeping all parties updated
- Negotiating settlements
- Carrying out all other claim related duties until settlement of the claim
Skillset needed:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a customer facing environment, heavily beneficial if this is in the insurance sector.
- Excellent customer service skills/telephone manner
- Experience of phone work/administrative work
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Able to multi-task.
- Drive to achieve KPI’s and SLA’s.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
