Class 1 Driver

Based in Measham, North West Leicestershire, A B Produce supply washed potatoes and prepared vegetables to a number of retail and food service businesses.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within the UK. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle - this could be such a flatbed truck, box trailer, curtain sider or tanker.
-Follow delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Class 1 truck driver

- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
