We are seeking a highly motivated Classroom Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Heysham. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who possesses strong behaviour management skills and is experienced with the KS1 curriculum.
Day-to-day of the role:- Delivering engaging lessons to Year 1 students, ensuring a high level of learning and enjoyment.
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of students.
- Engaging with parents and guardians to support the development of students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in primary education, particularly with Year 1.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
