Client Accountant

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Accountant to deliver top-tier accounting services to their clients. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with a steadfast commitment to accuracy and efficiency, capable of meeting client deadlines and maintaining the highest standards of financial management.

As the Accountant, your day will look like:

• Maintain and Reconcile: Keep client records up-to-date and reconcile ledgers.
• Account Management: Prepare and consolidate management accounts and financial reports, handle regulatory returns, and produce statutory accounts.
• Payment and Invoice Management: Approve payments, resolve outstanding invoices, and oversee cash movements and balances.
• Payroll and Liaison: Process client payroll and liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and clients.
• Team Development and Audit Participation: Assist with team recruitment, training, and development, ensure procedures are updated with regulatory changes, and participate in client audits.

To be the successful Accountant, you will need:

• Accounting Expertise: Experience in preparing management accounts, financial statements, and annual reports. Qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to prioritise and plan effectively to meet deadlines.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A team player with a customer-focused approach.
• Problem-Solving and Technical Proficiency: Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in MS Excel/Word/Outlook.
