SalarySMC801 – Client Accountant – Tax & Real Estate
Excellent opportunity to join an expanding, international Non-Banking Financial Institution. The successful candidate will join a growing team and will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting & tax compliance services (i.e. preparing financial statements and preparing / submitting relevant UK tax returns).
Due to continuing growth/expansion within the Company, this role is expected to offer the successful candidate the opportunity for future career development into a Team Lead/Line Management role.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the day to day integrity of client ledgers.
- Preparing client management accounts.
- Preparing month end / quarter end management accounts for allocated clients.
- Preparing annual Financial Statements for allocated clients.
- Acting as a main point of contact for clients regarding external audit/auditors.
- Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information.
- Building/developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Preparing, reconciling and submitting VAT returns and corporation tax returns.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of UK VAT & Corporation Tax legislation.
- High degree of numeracy and analytical thinking.
- Previous experience in a client facing role - Beneficial.
- Previous experience within a Real Estate and/or Debt Capital Market environment – Desirable.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Able to work as part of a team, as well as using own initiative.???????
