The City of London Corporation has adopted a radical Climate Action Strategy which breaks new ground and sets out how the organisation will achieve net zero, build climate resilience and champion sustainable growth, both in the UK and globally, over the next two decades.
Your role will support the City Corporation and its key partners, such as suppliers and landlords and community actors, working collectively to improve the carbon footprint and climate resilience of the Square Mile and City Corporation’s assets and activities.
We are looking for an individual who will inform, motivate, equip and support stakeholders within the Square Mile and beyond, including at our housing estates, schools and open spaces, to get involved in the strategy and take local Climate Action.
You will work with internal (staff) and external stakeholders (workers, residents, students and visitors) and stakeholder groups (resident associations, business, voluntary and community sector organisations) to find creative solutions and partnerships and maximise the benefits for people and business, as set out in the strategy. The Climate Action Stakeholder Engagement Lead will be able to build on their expertise and have a real impact on the Climate Action Strategy of the City of London Corporation.
