THE COMPANY
This role is within a successful UK bank who are growing year on year and continuing that growth into 2024. As a specialist lender, this bank has a clear focus and mission and is seeking an experienced candidate to join the team. This role is an exciting opportunity to work on a new area of the bank within an increasingly relevant area of risk, across the entire business.
THE ROLE
- Developing frameworks to monitor and manage Climate Risk.
- Owning the Climate Risk frameworks across the business to define strategy and monitor processes.
- Working across their lending books to analyse factors such as lending policies, limits, etc to mitigate risk in the climate and wider risk space.
- Broader work with teams across the bank including credit, liquidity, and funding.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Background in the credit risk within lending is essential.
- Prior experience with ESG is essential and Climate Risk is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in broader risk methodology and second-line risk mitigation.
- Must have a strong numerate degree.
