Clinical Coordinator Team Lead
Circle Integrated Care - South and West Hertfordshire                  
37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £28,000.00 + Benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator Team Lead to join the team of staff.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Proficient in computer skills, ECDL or equivalent, Microsoft Office.
  • Previous HCA/clinical assistant work/physio assistant experience.
  • Able to demonstrate a good standard of education
  • Preferably NVQ3 or equivalent) together with administration experience.
  • Aware of the Importance of equality, diversity and rights
  • Awareness of the need for confidentiality in accordance with Data Protection Act and national/local guidelines
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  •  Able to communicate effectively at all levels and maintain standards in potentially stressful situations.
  • Commitment to patient care. 
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of handling information confidentially and sensitively.
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Methodical, numerate
  • Good analytical and judgemental skills including the ability to problem solve.
  • Well organized, able to self-manage and prioritise own workload whilst paying attention to detail and retaining the flexibility to react to changing situations

Duties of this role include:

  • Line management of our team of HCA/Community Clinics Support Facilitators. This includes authorising annual leave, monitoring attendance, performance of daily duties.
  • Daily checking and preparation of clinical rooms including medicine stocks within clinic rooms and main medicine cabinet.
  • Daily checking of emergency resuscitation equipment.
  • Some administrative tasks in the absence of reception staff such as checking patients in, retrieval of results using the service’s IT systems.
  • Chaperoning in clinics as needed
  • Completing patient observations as needed for clinics (with appropriate training if required)
  • To ensure that patients are supported to retain their dignity and privacy.
  • To provide support and assistance to professionals when they are performing specific therapies, clinical treatments and investigative programmes for patients
  • To communicate positively and tactfully with patients, their relatives, carers and visitors.
