Job Title: CMO Project Manager/Automation Delivery Manager
Location: Hybrid, Corsham 2-3 days per week remainder remote
Rate: Up to £700 per day based on relevant experience

Our client requires an experienced Project Support/Project Manager to work alongside the clients senior team in delivering the core product to Defence.

As a Project Support Officer you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless execution of project activities, with a particular focus on supporting Delivery Managers and deputising for the Lead Project Manager as needed. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of project management and support, including coordination, communication, and the application of key tools and methodologies. This position requires a keen understanding of project management, proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence, and the ability to engage with development teams to ensure project success. A working background in defence and/or National Security would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• To deliver the tasks within time as identified and agreed in the Project.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers and project managers to develop, maintain, and update project plans using Jira and Confluence.
• Ensure project documentation is organised, up-to-date, and easily accessible for all team members.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, capturing action items and tracking progress.
• Leverage Jira and Confluence to manage project workflows, track issues, and create comprehensive documentation.
• Act as a liaison between project managers, Delivery Managers, and development teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Utilise MS Office applications for reporting and data analysis, ensuring accurate and timely information for decision-making.
• Provide dedicated support to Delivery Managers in coordinating project activities.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation, ensuring optimal team efficiency.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers to streamline delivery processes.
• Deputising for Lead Project Manager and Take ownership of key project management responsibilities when required.

Description:

• The ability to manage, plan and co-ordinate technical delivery tasks and outputs, ensuring they are delivered on time to the schedule.
• Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to senior project managers.
• Provide accurate and timely updates on project milestones, risks, and issues.
• Collaborate with project managers and Delivery Managers to create visually engaging reports for stakeholders.
• Implement risk management approaches to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Work closely with Delivery Managers and project managers to develop and maintain risk registers.
• Monitor and report on risk status regularly, ensuring proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Essential skills, qualifications, and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business management or similar.
• 4+ years' relevant experience
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to coordinate projects and lead multiple teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Report and procedure writing skills.
