Programmer/setter/operator, to programme, set and operate a Mazak 800/20 VTC CNC Machining centre with a Mazatrol control system + Edgecam CAM system
General Description:
- Must be able to Set and operate a MAZAK CNC Mill.
- Extensive experience of setting, operating a Mazak CNC Mill using a Mazatrol.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, taking notice of specific tolerances and procedures to enable programming, setting and then manufacture.
- Have the skills to use a third-party CAD /CAM system, importing drawings or models, so as to generate code that can be used at the machine (in house training available.)
- Must be able to quantify their own work using a variety of measuring equipment.
- Must follow company procedures, documenting tooling, set ups and machine parameters to achieve repeatable results by self or others.
- Experience of handling medium to large jobs, using overhead cranes. (Training Available)
- We predominantly work in the food industry, so a knowledge of Stainless Steels would be advantageous.
- Good understanding, knowledge and experience across multiple manufacturing equipment i.e., Turning, Milling, Boring etc. to include CNC programming.
- Flexible working attitude, where, when needed, will run and operate any of our current machines to put the best process on the right machine.
- To ensure all health and safety systems are adhered to and any issued PPE is worn as and when required.
- To maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area at all times.
- Any other duties as requested by management.

Competitive hourly rate: £17.14/hr (Regular overtime available)
All candidates need a minimum of 5 years machining experience.
Your normal working hours are 37 hours per week to be worked as listed below:
Monday/Thursday: 7.30 am – 12.30 pm / 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm
Friday: 7.00 am - 12 noon
