Rate of pay: 17.50ph - 22.50ph (dependant on experience)
Hours:
- Early shift, Monday - Thursday, 6am - 2.15pm.
- Late shift, Monday - Thursday, 2pm - 12.15pm (incurs premium)
- Overtime rates available.
Position Overview:
This position is within a dynamic and expanding manufacturing company, specialising in the design and manufacture of gears, shafts, transmission, and highly complex CNC machined parts for multiple industries. Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Lathe Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join their team.
Key responsibilities/ duties:
- Set up, program, and operate advanced CNC lathes (Doosan and Nakamura) to produce complex parts.
- Analyse blueprints, strong GTD skills interpreting engineering drawings, and engineering information to determine best machining practices.
- Collaborate with engineering team to optimise the machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of the finished product and make necessary adjustments to the machines and processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, job setups, and quality control data.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the working area and environment.
