We are seeking a part qualified/qualified or qualified by experience accountant to undertake an exciting role, available due to an internal promotion.
As the Commercial Accountant, you will be responsible for providing commercial accounting information to support the Financial Controller in the preparation of financial reports and analysis. You will be expected to provide financial information to management to help with the understanding and development of sales and cost of sales, along with the identification of risks and opportunities for current and future business development.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure that commercial accounting information is provided to agreed deadlines and is compatible with the company's systems.
– Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, including management accounts and statutory reporting.
– Provide financial information to management to help with the understanding and development of sales and cost of sales, along with the identification of risks and opportunities for current and future business development.
– Collaborate with other teams within the Finance department to ensure that financial information is accurate and timely.
– Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support financial planning and analysis.
– Provide analysis and commentary on financial performance, including variance analysis, and contribute to the development of financial forecasts and budgets.
– Work closely with the business to understand their requirements and provide financial support as needed.
This role offers flexible hours , on site full time in their office – lunch time finish on a Friday.
