RPS is currently seeking a Junior Commercial Manager to join our progressive Design business at an exciting time.
We are looking for a Junior Commercial Manager to join the busy and vibrant team in our Newark office to provide support in the post-contract commercial management of our professional services contracts. Reporting to Project Directors across various projects, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious employee to work on high-profile projects and help us solve problems that matter.

What you’ll be doing
Including but not limited to:
- Working with the Team Director(s) as required in production of contractual notices and claims for additional fees.
- Working with the Team Director(s) as required in collation and submission of project timesheet data.
- Working with Team Director(s) as required in identifying opportunities to claim additional fees.
- Working with Team Director(s) as required in production of claims and quotations for additional work.
- Working with the Team Director(s) as required in preparing invoices for professional fees.
- Working with the Team Director(s) as required in establishing and managing sub-consultant contracts and payments.
- Using own initiative and maintaining high standards and accuracy to support Project Teams in project commercial management.
Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a background in design management, project management or quantity surveying. You will also need to be someone who enjoys working collaboratively with others and is well organised and able to manage your time effectively with 2 years in a contract commercial role within construction and/or manufacturing. Membership of a relevant professional body desirable, MCIOB or MRICS
