Here at LivGreen we are a specialist Retrofit Contractor which provides a one-stop-shop for social and private landlords in delivering high quality retrofit projects. We prioritize teamwork, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
We are looking for Quantity Surveyors or Commercial Assistants to join our team, you will need to be driven, focused and an excellent communicator.
This will be an office-based position working from our office based in Fishponds, Bristol although we will soon be moving to Stoke Gifford.

- Basic salary of up to £45,000 DOE.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will:
- Prepare and oversee project budget / cost plans - ensure Gross Profit target is achieved across all projects.
- Establishing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and the wider LivGreen team.
- Attending client meetings, providing feedback on project throughout.
- Researching the cost of items such as materials and labour.
- Review quotations and ensuring they are cost effective and competitive whilst liaising with the Estimating team.
- Produce estimates for sales/bids.
- Negotiating with contractors
- Creating scopes to help with sub-contractor requirements.
- Deal with pricing and agreement of non-standard rates.
- Invoice processing.
- Produce cost/progress reports for clients.
To be successful as a Quantity Surveyor you will need:
- Experience in a similar role – essential
- Experience within the construction or retrofit is desired but not essential.
- Good IT skills and competent in the use of MS Excel and Word
- Understanding of construction contracts
- Good oral and written communication skills
