The role, Commercial Finance Controller... a role where you will be at the heart of an extremely successful food Manufacturing group based in Nottingham.
You'll be working closely alongside senior Finance, Operations and Commercial stakeholder networks to influence strategy and business outcomes, offering expert analysis and interpretation, presenting options to resolve problems and create opportunities and support informed financial decision-making.
The Opportunity…
- Support and challenge senior commercial team in delivering strategies
- Conduct portfolio reviews with analysis to influence teams
- Manage customer pricing models and inflation/deflation analysis
- Guide commercial teams on pricing and promotional strategy through outsourced P&L ownership
- Appraise marketing spend, prepare brand P&Ls, and lead annual budget with Commercial Finance team
Be a strong advocate of analytics, developing a deep understanding of the business to make sure that analysis is embedded in everyday decision making. Draw meaningful insights and ideas from large data sets to support and improve business performance.
Your Experience…
- ACCA / CIMA / Qualified with experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Excellent excel and modelling skills
- Developing the collation and reporting of data
- Exposure to pricing / pricing models would be desirable
- Able to demonstrate evidence of working in a growing organisation with the ability to bridge the gap between finance and commercial teams
What’s on offer…
- Package on offer is c£85,000 + 6k Car + 20% Bonus
- Hybrid working (2-3 days in the office)
