Job Title: Commercial Manager - Water Sector
Salary: Circa £72,000 + package (DOE) - This is negotiable.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the water or wastewater treatment sector, although this is not essential. Your role will involve managing costs relating to construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards. You will play a crucial part in our projects' success, contributing your expertise to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of cost control, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Conduct thorough cost analysis and risk assessments to inform decisionmaking.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to optimize project outcomes.
Monitor project progress and identify areas for costsaving opportunities.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the water sector.
NEC Contract experience
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in relevant software tools, such as MS Excel and project management software.
