Description
- Oversee and manage all functions of the business across operations, commercial, facilities and premises
- With the Board protect and grow the organisations brand to enhance the company's reputation
- Work with the Board to develop and execute strategic plans to meet company goals
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics
- Run and manage a team to deliver on business objectives
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
- Implement new business strategies and initiatives
- Implement business systems that will be suitable for ISO9000 accreditation
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations
Profile
A successful Commercial Operations Officer should have:
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- A completer finisher: a focused leader who ensures an organisation's goals are not beyond its capability to deliver KPI's on time and on budget
- A strategic operational thinker: pragmatic operational planner to deliver the agreed plan and long-term strategy
- Results orientation: Demonstrates ability to work on projects towards the accomplishment of established goals and objectives.
- Collaborative approach: manage different business functions to resolve issues and problems as they arise
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A solid understanding of Commercial Operations and business strategies with a focus on quality and service
- A proven background in general management in a commercial and business setting, with previous experience of managing P&Ls and a successful track record of growing a business
- Ideally experience of organisations (or possibly a business unit) ranging from £5m - £20m
