A leading regional law firm has an exciting new role for a Paralegal to join its Commercial Property team. This forward thinking, highly professional firm is offering an opportunity for the successful applicant to develop their legal knowledge and skills. There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to undertake their training contract if they have the LPC qualification.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
• have had experience as a paralegal in a commercial or residential property department,
• be capable of assisting solicitors in the team with administrative and transactional Commercial Property matters and will welcome the opportunity to be involved in some corporate transactions,
• be articulate and able to communicate with clients and team members in a professional manner, and
• be proactive, ambitious, and keen to further their legal career.
THE ROLE:
To assist fee earners with day-to-day case management including:
• liaising with clients in relation to costs, progress, and timescales,
• conducting legal research,
• Land Registry searches and applications,
• drafting case papers, transactional documents, and client reports (with support),
• administering the firm’s client ‘on boarding’ procedures, and
• managing file opening and closing, billing, and paying costs.
