The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy of the business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market dynamics, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of driving sales growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed targets while contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior management to develop and refine the commercial strategy, aligning it with overall business goals.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Implement strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences, ensuring a customer-centric approach in all sales activities.
