Job Description:

We are seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. As a Commis Chef at The Pompadour, you will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate and dedicated team of chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to the restaurant's high standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with food hygiene regulations.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and tasks.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for cooking and a keen interest in fine dining.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
