A fantastic opportunity for a Commis Chef to join a small kitchen team, preparing a menu of classic Scottish dishes in one of Edinburgh’s oldest and most iconic pubs, The Tolbooth Tavern.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the following duties and responsibilities
- preparation of a variety of dishes to an agreed specification
- high degree of attention to detail
- able to work under pressure in a busy environment
- level 2 food hygiene qualification preferred
- maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
- occasional solo working
other responsibilities will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
