Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of a chef or senior cook
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff and ensuring smooth operations during service
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
