We are looking for a Commis Chef. This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Senior Chef de Partie and Head Chef.

Working pattern: Shift work / Monday to Sunday / 5 days per week with 2 days off / rotas are done on a weekly basis

We are looking for someone who has a previous experience in a similar culinary hotel environment.

As a Commis Chef you will be responsible for:

• cooking food and preparing top-quality menu items in a timely manner
• ensuring that mise-en-place for food preparation is completed in your section
• ensuring ingredients are of the highest quality in daily preparation and keep up to date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques
• informing Head Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials
• operating all kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• preparing fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
• support the Senior Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work
