Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Commis to join our culinary team in a bustling pub/restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and production, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Immediate start available
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation tasks under the guidance of the head chef
- Support in the production of menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Adhere to strict food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with restaurant and hospitality industry standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. You will gain valuable experience with the opportunity to progress your career
