This is an exciting time to join the People Commissioning Team as we look to build further the service's capacity, which now covers all 'people commissioning' functions at BMDC. You will work in a team to support the Commissioning and contract management functions of children's services and Bradford Children and Families Trust. The Commissioning and Contract Support Officers will play a vital role in ensuring the Commissioning and contract management of high-quality services are in place to achieve positive outcomes for children and families and provide excellent value for money for the Local authority and the Trust.

The candidates will be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. They will understand the importance of high-quality commissioning work through high-quality contract management and quality assurance approaches and how these enhance the outcomes of children and young people we serve.

The Commissioning and Contract Support Officer role function is essential to the successful delivery of the aims of the Council, the Trust, and partners in ensuring that children and families receive the support they need to ensure children can live happy and healthy lives and have bright futures.

• The candidates will have experience of analysing information for meaning, quality and implication and drafting reports on contract performance.
•  The candidate will have experience of working in a multi-agency environment and forging productive working relationships with partners. Strong communication skills with the ability to form positive relationships.
• The candidate will have experience of implementing creative and innovative solutions to routine problems.
• The candidate will have experience in a role which includes supporting projects, service change or Commissioning and contract management activities.
