Commodity Change Management Analyst

It is essential that all applicants applying have business change or data analyst experience, gained from a commodities background and has proven work experience in a business change department.  Commodity, supply chain or sustainability previous work experience will only be considered.  No sponsorship, therefore only candidates with 3+ years future UK work eligibility should apply.

Our client, a financial institution, is seeking a Commodity Change Management Analyst to join their team on permanent basis (hybrid working is available).

The role will involve providing business knowledge and support to assess, report and assist with the deployment in the different businesses within the Group in different origin countries.

This role is based in London but will be working with different businesses within the Group, spending time in their location to be able to record and analyse current ways of working to the point of implementation and post implementation analysis.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Develop cross commodity business insight to be able to support the optimisation and development of business processes.
• Highlight future transformational changes, with an opportunity to develop further.
• Conduct discovery of origin as-is processes and compare and map differences compared to global process templates.
• Build relationships to facilitate integration and adoption.
• Build processes to improve data standardization, quality and coverage, with a specific initial focus on EU regulation compliance.
• Preparation of materials for various stakeholders.
• To work closely with the teams to align on business requirements and ensure alignment.
• To make recommendations, proposal of standardisations and prioritisation methodologies for the teams within an agile project structure
• Coordinate the rollout plans for various projects and communicate these with the relevant personnel.
• Provide updates and risks associated to activities assigned in the format predefined for each of the projects

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a business or data analyst within a system change/transformation area.
• A degree in Business, Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience within the commodity industry or in supply chain is highly desirable.
• Proven numeracy, analytical and report writing skills.
• A strong interest for commodity markets.
• Fluent English required.
• Spanish or/and French speaking would be desirable.
