Requirements
The Communications & Events Manager is responsible for creating, and delivering communications, engagement, and Events activity that enables the business to attract and retain the best talent, promote our brand, and create unforgettable experiences for our stakeholders. This role is key to strengthening our colleague value proposition and overall brand by enhancing colleague and customer experiences through effective communication and people engagement initiatives.

· Other duties may be assigned outside of the following duties and responsibilities:
· Support the Head of Marketing & Communications and CSPO in the development and execution of a compelling colleague value proposition and brand strategy that covers the end-to-end employee cycle.
· Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives, including town halls, team building activities and colleague events.
· Manage, support and co-ordinate hospitality and Events.
· Work closely with the broader People, Sustainability & Marketing team and other relevant departments to ensure seamless delivery of campaigns and communication programmes.
· Manage internal communication channels (bob, podcasts, video) to ensure employees are informed and engaged on all key people related matters.
· Be a representative within the Colleague Voice working group, feeding back to management where applicable.
· Measure the success of engagement programmes and make recommendations for improvements.
· Develop and implement onboarding processes to ensure new hires feel welcome and are integrated into the company culture.
· Work with relevant teams to improve the overall employee experience, including physical work environment, benefits, and company culture.
· Own colleague gifting for key life events, and any seasonal treats
· Own the planning and execution of key national celebration or awareness days, including religious events – creating a fully inclusive environment for all colleagues.
· Manage social media activity for attracting talent to DF Capital
· Support the Sustainability Partner on any CSR initiatives where appropriate.
· Provide cover for facilities where appropriate e.g. annual leave, breaks etc.

The Communications & Events Manager plays a critical role in fostering a positive work environment and driving stakeholder engagement. This role requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as a passion for creating great experiences.
ExperienceMust possess required knowledge and/or qualifications so that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee engagement, communication, events and/or marketing-related fields
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with employees, stakeholders, and partners.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
· Content creation skills – copywriting and graphic design skills required, photography and/or videography skills a bonus.
· Experience with social media scheduling and measurement tools.
· Strong project management and organisational skills
· Knowledge of employee engagement best practices and trends
· Ability to analyse data and create reports to measure programme success.
