Job description

This Communications Manager role is an exciting opportunity to re-write and shape the customer focused communications strategy for a not-for-profit organisation based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering clear, engaging, and impactful communications across a range of channels.

Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy
  • Lead the creation of engaging content across multiple channels
  • Coordinate customer communications, ensuring consistency and clarity
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies
  • Providing guidance and support to internal teams
  • Ensure all communications adhere to regulations
  • Work closely with other departments to align messaging and objectives

Profile

A successful Communications Manager should have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in digital and social media
  • Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A creative and strategic thinker
