Description
- Develop and implement effective communications strategies
- Generate engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media, and print
- Manage public relations and respond to enquiries from the media and other parties
- Monitor and report on communication campaign results
- Co-ordinate with marketing and other departments to ensure brand consistency
- Organise and attend events to boost brand awareness
- Oversee risk and crisis communications
- Comply with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines relating to public sector and government communications
Profile
A successful Communications Officer should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally within the public sector or government industry
- Expertise in creating and managing diverse communication strategies
- Excellent writing and public speaking skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
