Community Play Worker – Saturday Club
We are looking for someone to join our team of staff on Saturday’s during term time from 9am to 4.30pm to assist in the provision of activities, supervision and support to children and young people attending the service.
We are a small team of staff who are committed to providing a high-quality service for children and young people with disabilities and their families. It is essential that our staff are reliable, punctual and flexible so that we can offer the best possible provision to our users and these attributes should be high on your list of priorities if you wish to apply for this post.
Ideally candidates should have some knowledge of Child Protection and the development and cultural needs of children from all backgrounds. You should be able to communicate well with children and their families, be committed to Equal Opportunities and always aim to provide a high-quality service.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) and attend relevant Child Protection training. Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.
This position would give anyone wishing to pursue a career working with children the opportunity to gain experience, knowledge and understanding of how to deliver quality services in this field.
