SalaryCityworx are recruiting for a Company Accountant in partnership with a leading care provider who leads the way in residential and community based care.
We are searching for an experienced senior leader to work alongside and in partnership with the SMT to grow and diversify the current portfolio.
The Company Accountant will be the financial lead for new projects and initiatives to expand the privately funded care division.
Ideally you will have experience of reporting to Board advising on strategic growth and development plans preferably within the Health or Social care sector, howver we will consdider applicants from other industries as long as you can demonsrtae your experience.
We offer Hybrid working with definitive days to you would be required to attend senior management meetings in the office
The ideal candidate would be fully qualified CCAB, HOWEVER if you have demonstrable work experience we would consider this as we value the level of expertise and experience individuals can bring who have had many years of practical experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead & coordinate the production of Annual Statement of Accounts
- To lead on commercial and future business financial modelling including effective financial risk management
- Monthly financial monitoring, including variance analysis.
- Lead and manage a financial analyst.
- Coordinate the External Audit of Accounts
- Complete the filing of Audited year end accounts, and any applicable corporation tax implications.
- Creating and presenting financial reports to Senior Management Team
The successful Company Accountant will have proven experience as a management accountant, with a high level of attention to detail, and strong excel skills.
