Company Accountant role working with a Northeast based FTSE 250 Business.

Description

You will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and prepare statutory accounts being the first point of call for auditors.

You will prepare annual budgets and make payments to subcontractors to contractual timescales, liaise with lenders, prep VAT and CIS returns.

You will produce cash flow forecasts and control company bank balances
You will play an essential role in a new 60 million pound project and have the overall responsibility of this project.

You will implement new ERP systems and process improvements and be a key member of the Finance team.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with ideally at least a year industry experience and knowledge of start-ups and implementing new working practices.

You will be educated to degree standard, a good practical Accountant and have the ability to work with technical accounting concepts.
