We are looking for an experienced compliance professional tojoin the Amazon EU S.a.r.l (AEU UK) team to support the complianceoperations of the firm. Reporting to AEU UK’s Senior ComplianceManager, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for supportingthe various credit broking propositions within the UK.
The Compliance Manager will support inproviding regulatory oversight and approval for new programs,providing expert advice to stakeholders and supporting strategydesign with regulatory input.
This opportunityrequires a subject matter expert to contribute within a fast-paced,growing team. You will champion customer outcomes and use yourknowledge of the industry and regulatory horizon to ensuresustainable, compliant solutions are formed. You will comfortablyhandle ambiguity, and provide pragmatic challenge to colleagues,peers and leadership and you are not afraid to roll up your sleevesand dive into the details. You think outside of the box, coming upwith solutions in times of ambiguity.
Key jobresponsibilities
- Assist the Senior Compliance Managerin ensuring AEU UK’s credit broking activities operate inaccordance with all legal and regulatory requirements
-Review and approve financial promotions to ensure they are in linewith regulatory requirements
- Support AEU UK’s SeniorCompliance Manager in providing advice on Consumer Creditrequirements, including in the development of new businesspropositions
- Provide training to the business onapplicable Consumer Credit regulation
- Maintain up todate knowledge of relevant credit broking and insuranceregulations.
- Monitor regulatory change and emergingrisk from regulatory sources and circulate key developments tointernal stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum offour years generalist compliance experience in financial services /credit broking or within a financial regulatory body working inrisk or compliance
- A good understanding of FCAregulation and its application to UK firms
- Excellentteam player with the ability to work closely with others to deliverresults, identify and resolve issues; shares information and keepsteam members and management informed
- Excellentorganisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload andmanage various tasks simultaneously.
- A goodunderstanding of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime(SMCR)
- A good understanding of complaint handling rules
- The ability and willingness to learn new skills andupskill quickly to new requirements
- Strong anddemonstrable influencing, stakeholder management, presentation andcommunication skills.
- Resilient and able to thrive andlead in a fast paced, entrepreneurialenvironment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-Financial services background preferred
- Experiencewithin the Consumer Credit or mortgage/loans sector
