The role:
- You'll work closely with the Senior Manager and wider Regulatory Team to help develop a regulatory horizon scanning framework and provide timely updates to key stakeholders. A key requirement will be the ability to interpret and summarise regulatory rules and provide business impact analysis.
- Coordinate and support on second line of defence oversight of implementation of regulatory change and participation in regulatory market studies/thematic reviews and information requests.
- Provide regulatory advice and guidance to the various business units including delivering focused regulatory training sessions as and when required.
- Produce and present effective Management Information to senior management and relevant Committees.
To apply:
- It is essential that you have a proven track record of undertaking horizon scanning and are able to provide advice on the potential impact to the business.
- You’ll be a Compliance Advisory specialist with experience gained in an FCA regulated environment. Previous experience in Designated Professional Body (IoFA or similar) would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent at building relationships and working collaboratively with a wide range of people.
- Excellent communicator with good verbal.
- Knowledge of the FCA Handbook and its application to regulated firms.
- Able to take a pro-active approach and present new ideas and ways of working.
