If you have knowledge of finance in a construction setting – I want to hear from you, and more importantly, you’ll want to hear about this position!
This business is growing – they’re retaining their clients year on year but also acquiring new ones, hence why they need an Accounts Assistant who can manage the transactional accounting alongside the existing team – and thrives off working to deadlines!
There are two sides to the coin in this role – sales and purchase ledger; you’ll enjoy exposure to both – whether that’s chasing a Project Manager for payment or processing a sub-contractor project, you’ll be involved in the process from start to finish.
You will work directly with a CIMA Qualified Finance Manager – his knowledge knows no ends! He truly is a fantastic leader – albeit this role is fairly transactional to begin with, this could open a new pathway in as little as 12 months’ time where you’re supporting with his workload too and building on your skillset.
The only barrier to entry here is whether you have industry experience or not – that is a pre-requisite. And if that includes knowledge of CIS and COINS, then even better!
