The Role:
They are seeking an experienced construction lawyer to join their emerging construction team at either associate director or director level. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in helping to lead the team whilst also advising clients on a wide range of construction matters, including both non-contentious and contentious work. Your responsibilities will include:
– Providing strategic advice to clients on construction contracts, procurement methods, and risk management.
– Drafting and negotiating construction agreements, including design and build contracts, joint venture agreements, and project finance documents.
– Handling construction disputes and litigation, including adjudication, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
– Collaborating with colleagues across the wider real estate practice to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

Requirements:
– Qualified solicitor with significant experience in construction law.
– Strong background in either non-contentious or contentious construction matters (or a mix of both).
– Proven track record of advising clients on complex construction projects at a senior level.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
– Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
