, This is an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Consultant to join the Emergency Unit at Glangwili General Hospital in a modern, purpose-built unit able to accept all emergency admissions, which is a busy acute hospital and is the local Trauma Unit for the Health Board where you will work in close conjunction with other consultant physicians and surgeons in the hospital and the community., , As well as being able to accept all medical and surgical emergencies, speciality support is available such as Trauma, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT and Ophthalmology. The Hospital is supported by a large modern Adult Critical Care Unit, a Stroke unit with dedicated stroke teams., , The team consists of:, , , The appointment is offered on a permanent basis as per detailed in the advert and your principal place of employment being Glangwili General Hospital, although other working locations including off site working may be necessary and will form part of your agreed job plan.
