Consultant Psychiatrist – Bedfordshire, Up To £126,000 p/a
We’re embarking on an exciting journey and are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to shape the future of our client’s service for Community Mental Health Team for Older People in Bedfordshire. Position Overview:
- £95,000 to £126,000 per / annum
- Leadership Opportunity: Lead as a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Community Mental Health Team for Older People in Mid Bedfordshire.
- Full-time role with options for part-time or job-sharing.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a dedicated team serving a population of 31,700 older adults in the Bedford area.
- Potential relocation support of up to £10,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and expert input for patients referred to or under the care of the CMHT.
- Conduct assessments, reviews, and deliver evidence-based interventions for patients.
- Forge effective partnerships with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
- Manage administrative tasks promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- CCT or achieved Article 14 (4) of the GMC’s specialist register with relevant training and experience.
- Must hold full registration with the GMC and possess a UK driving license.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary team setting.
