Content Creator

The Content Creator is responsible for creating a variety of different content for marketing and communication activity across the whole of the Urban Splash group. Using the Urban Splash brand guidance the Content Creator writes copy for various different platforms both digital and in print helping to distinguish the Urban Splash voice and drive audience engagement.

In addition to this our Content Creator manages the hell out of social media platforms and other digital engagement tools.

Key accountabilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that supports our brand objectives and engages our target audience.
• Create and curate high-quality, visually appealing, and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and more.
• Create, manage and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and timely delivery of content.
• Write, edit, and proofread compelling and informative copy for emails, blogs, and website content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to contribute creative ideas for larger projects and campaigns.
• Monitor and analyse social media trends, insights, and performance metrics to optimize content and engagement strategies.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media and content marketing.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation.
• Assist in the development and execution of paid social media campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions (experience with Paid Social campaigns is a plus).

Skills, knowledge and experience

• 1-3 years of proven experience in media, journalism, influencing, social media management or content creation.
• Experience with email marketing, blog writing, and crafting web copy desirable.
• An impressive portfolio showcasing your work, creativity and ability to create engaging content.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
• Creativity, innovation, and a passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends
