As a Content Creator Apprentice, you'll not only elevate your current skills in photography or videography but also cultivate a strategic mindset, enabling you to effortlessly integrate compelling content into our comprehensive marketing strategy. Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll gain proficiency in all facets of content marketing, spanning blogs, social media, newsletters, press releases, and more.

Your passion for hair and beauty, coupled with a keen awareness of online social media trends, makes you an ideal fit for this role.

As a participant in this government-funded apprenticeship scheme, in collaboration with Gee, you will engage in a comprehensive training program. Spend four days a week in the office, applying your newfound skills, and reserve one day, typically Wednesdays, for face-to-face learning at a Manchester City Centre academy alongside fellow apprentices. This one-year journey will culminate in a Level 3 Content Creator qualification and a graduation ceremony.

Responsibilities:

• Craft Compelling Content: Utilise your existing videography or photography skills to create engaging video and photographic content for social media, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and our website, consistently captivating our audience.
• Manage Social Media Accounts: Take an active role in managing our social media accounts boasting over 200K followers. Share content, interact with the audience, and contribute to building brand awareness and loyalty.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Contribute to brainstorming sessions, collaborating with the Content Creator and fellow Apprentices to generate innovative ideas aligning with our audience and brand identity.
• Conceptualise and Plan: Research, plan, and create captivating content concepts tailored to various platforms, ensuring maximum impact and relevance.
• Present and Strategise: Showcase your creative content and digital marketing strategies to the marketing team, offering fresh perspectives to drive our brand's success.
• Analysis and Optimisation: Utilise tools like Google Analytics to track and report the performance of content and digital marketing campaigns, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Stay current with emerging social media platforms, technologies, and digital marketing trends, effectively incorporating them into our campaigns.
• Drive Engagement: Implement effective content strategies to increase traffic to our company pages, enhancing our online presence and brand visibility.
• Support Content Marketing Strategies: Contribute to content marketing across various channels, including social media, website, blog, SEO, and more.
• Capture Content during Photoshoots: Play a vital role in capturing content during photoshoots and Content Creation Days.

Entry Requirements:

• A-C (4-9) English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
• A passion for social media and digital content!

Training to be Provided:

This is an apprenticeship, combining work and learning. You'll have a study day once a week, usually on Wednesdays, with face-to-face learning at an academy in Manchester City Centre alongside other apprentices. The one-year training period includes comprehensive digital marketing training leading to a Level 3 Content Creator qualification, culminating in a graduation at the end of the year.

By the end of the apprenticeship, you will emerge with a well-rounded skill set, ready to contribute to the success of digital marketing strategies through your expertise in newsletters, blogs, social media, SEO, and more. This immersive learning experience is designed to provide you with a solid foundation for a rewarding career as a Content Creator in the dynamic field of digital marketing.

Things to Consider:

Please note: For the first year, while training, you will receive a minimum salary of £13,000 - £16,000. Subsequently, your pay will be increased to National Minimum Wage for your age. All salaries are set at the employer's discretion; however, this will be the minimum you will receive.
