NEBOSH or similar qualified Fire Programme manager with experience of contract and project managing similar work in a housing setting.
Ability to manage and report on contractor performance and meet deadlines.
This role will be hybrid working at Laurence House in Catford, with an expected 2 days in the office and time spent on site as dictated by the programme.
As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the contract and programme management of a rolling programme of Fire Safety Works as directed. You will ensure that contracts and programmes are delivered to time and cost and within the terms of the contract, as well as in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will support related procurement activities and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high-level, cost-effective and customer focused programme. From time to time you may also be required to support other programmes as needed.
Knowledge
- Proficient use of Microsoft office suite with Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Knowledge of Building Safety and compliance
- Able to engage with and motivate others.
- Knowledge of Lean and business improvement techniques
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years managing Fire related projects, ideally in a Local Authority setting
- Expert level understanding of current legislation on Fire Safety, Health & Safety progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management.
- Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and work driven through teams.
