About the Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes is one of the newest Business Units within Jacobs and has been formed with the vision to support positive change and help shape the future of Nuclear Power.
Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development. To do this, we are seeking to continuously employ talented individuals to join our diverse team that are excited about nuclear projects and are committed to Net Zero, and Energy Security.
We are recruiting for a number of Project Managers to work across our Nuclear Power Programmes in new build including Sizewell C (SZC) & Hinkley Point C (HPC),
You'll supervise the execution and performance of the NSA contract and Ancillary scope contract, reporting on key metrics, and managing contract management tools to ensure on time delivery, schedule, and budget.
You'll use your comprehensive knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, leveraging your commercial and supply chain expertise to ensure the timely delivery of activities for program teams responsible for scope delivery.
Liaising with key stakeholders (NSA Contractor, SZC Delivery Programmes, SZC Engineering Integration) will be a key part of your role.
Here's What You'll Need:
- Typically, degree educated, ideally in engineering, technical, business or a related subject.
- Experience in nuclear project delivery or nuclear power plant operations is preferred but not essential
- APMP/PMI/formal project management qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Preferably demonstrable experience managing projects in a regulated environment.
- Leadership and team development skills
- Versed in modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organisations; have an understanding and knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction and installation/commissioning management and commercial contracting.
