Contracts Manager Highways Hertford
Turney Landscapes are a successful, well-established hard and soft landscaping business based in Milton Keynes. Trading for over forty years, we also have supporting depots in Hertford and Raunds.
The role will work within the Highways division reporting directly to the departmental head.
The duties of the new position will include but not limited to:
- Providing quotations for our clients for Highways, Tree Surgery and landscaping projects.
- Creating traffic management plans where necessary to accompany quotations.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, together with suppliers.
- Completing and submitting tenders / quotations within laid down timescales.
- Liaising with field management and operatives on projects.
- Compile and maintain all contract documentation and correspondence.
- Report and present contract progress / information to the departmental head when requested.
- Manage and resolve contract related matters and problems.
- Assist and maintain company compliance with mandatory standards.
- Keep abreast of changes to industry rules, standards and regulations.
- Ensure company contracts and projects operate to programme and within budget.
The Contracts Manager:
- Industry experience is essential. Please do not apply if you do not have the relevant experience.
- The successful applicant will be highly motivated and able to work to an extremely high standard.
- We are looking for a team player who can take responsibility for completing, managing and delivering their own workload. Experience with pricing and compiling quotations from drawings and having an understanding of traffic management requirements will also be required.
- The applicant will also possess a full driving licence and not be phased by driving into London on a weekly basis to liaise with clients.

Salary: GBP30,000.00-GBP40,000.00 per year
Note: the role will be based at the Hertford depot. Induction will take place at Milton Keynes for at least the first two weeks.
