Contracts Manager - Sc Cleared

Contracts Manager:
- 6 month contract
- 4 days remote working + 1 day in office per week
- Office location: Luton
- SC clearance required
- £400pd to £500pd range
- 37.5 hours per week
Technical skills required:
* A good understanding of Qualifying Defence Contract /Qualifying Sub Contract under the Defence Reform Act and DEFCARS reporting
* Drafting, negotiating and administration of complex terms and conditions of contracts
* Experienced SAP practitioner
* Experience of preparing proposals for submission to Customers in conjunction with the preparation of internal documentation required to obtain bid approval
* Experience of producing accurate and compliant customer pricing by applying the appropriate pricing strategy and model to cost estimates. (utilising excel pricing tool)
* Extensive Commercial experience in the Aerospace and Defence Sector
* Has excellent Microsoft Office knowledge and application of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Description:
* This contractor post will report to the Head of Commercial S&PT but tasks will be managed on a day to day basis by the IDAS Contracts Manager.
* Seeking an experienced contractor with a significant defence background to undertake tasks related to maintenance of existing contracts and development of of commercial bids and proposals
* Contractor will ensure adherence to commercial and business processes and that all necessary internal approvals and gates are achieved
* Contractor will work in support of IPTs/ICTs and ensure all relevant functions (Sales, Procurement, Ops, Project etc) are aligned and bought into commercial solutions and activities
