Conveyancing Assistant

Podium Recruitment Limited is looking for an experienced and collaborative Conveyancing Assistant to join our client's inclusive and thriving team. This full-time Conveyance Assistant hybrid role is based in Altrincham and offers an attractive salary and benefits package, including the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.

The main role of the Conveyancing Assistant is to support the New Build Conveyancer with all elements of the conveyancing transaction. You will deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, to provide advice and assistance.

In your first few weeks in this Conveyancing Assistant role, you can expect to:

• Chase various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches
• Keep the case management system and third-party websites updated in real time
• Ensure our clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at times
• Prepare required documentation as required with the conveyancing process
• Prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices

To apply for this Conveyancing Assistant role, you will need at least 12 months of experience working in a similar role. You will also require the following:

• Excellent administrative skills gained in an office environment and excellent attention to detail
• Good telephone manner
• Conversant in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Experience using a case management system (Proclaim)
