- Administrative Assistance: Provide administrative support in the conveyancing department.
- Case Management: Effectively and accurately manage cases in line with the firm's standards and legal requirements.
- Contract Preparation: Prepare Contract Packs.
- Search Requests: Request searches and apply for mortgage funds.
- Redemption Statements: Obtain Redemption Statements.
- Completion Documents: Prepare completion documents and manage all steps in the transaction and completion process.
- Post-Completion Procedures: Handle post-completion procedures, including the submission of SDLT returns and applications for registrations.
- File Management: Prepare, organise, and archive legal files and supporting documentation.
- Client Interaction: Handle client and third-party telephone calls, enquiries, and requests efficiently and politely.
- Compliance: Adhere to and promote compliance with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, the Conveyancing Protocol, firm policies, practices, and procedures, applicable legislation, and any relevant quality standards.
- Case Management System: Experience using the Hoowla case management system is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience as a
Conveyancing Assistant and will possess:
- The ability to work to deadlines, prioritise, and manage a varied caseload
- The ability to work well both as part of a team and on their own initiative
- Strong legal and leadership skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with colleagues, clients, and others
