About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a fixed term (ending 28 November 2025) Corporate Partnerships Manager. UCLB and Queen Mary are working with a consortium of ten universities and eight other partners drawn from across London who through a project entitled the ‘London Social Venture Fund’ are seeking to build a social venture development programme which builds on the interest of university staff and students to create and scale social ventures in order to tackle challenging and complex social problems. It is also intended to provide the foundations for the establishment of a university-focused social investment fund.
What you need to have:
To be successful in this role you will have developed and managed successful Corporate Partnerships in the past, ideally to support start-ups or social ventures. You have excellent networks with Corporate Social Responsibility/ESG /Sustainability teams and/or corporate foundations in London.
You will be a self-starter who is excellent at building relationships with venture founders, and garnering support from external partners to support their growth. Experience in venture studios, impact accelerators, impact investing and/or an understanding of academic culture.
You will be expected to take a pro-active, practical and commercial approach while being pragmatic and be able to work autonomously as well as be part of a dynamic team.
What you will receive in return:
A competitive salary from £50,000 to £60,000 dependent on qualifications experience. In addition, the company operates a generous pension scheme and holidays, PRP, private healthcare, flexible and hybrid working.
