About the role
As a Corporate Sales Manager in our Mid-Market Channel at Arval UK, you’ll be responsible for uncovering, nurturing and winning vehicle leasing and salary sacrifice business across a large geographical area. Targeting fleets of 50-500 vehicles for corporate contract hire and organisations with +750 employees to promote Arval’s salary sacrifice offering in South East England.
As a strong collaborator, as you seek and identify these opportunities for new business, you need to be commercially aware and prepared to work closely with our Marketing and Consultancy Teams, as required, to coordinate opportunities for business development. You’ll work be supported by our Bid and Customer Account Teams taking ownership to ensure we deliver the highest level of service quality to our customers.
Once implemented, your ongoing relationship management skills will used during regular fleet reviews, in a consultative way. As the face of Arval, you will be highly visible to your customers; you must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous successful relationship management
- Ownership of strategic relationships
- Negotiation of contract renewals
- Retaining fleet position
- Maximising product penetration
- Financial awareness
Internal stakeholder interfacing with all other functions within Arval to secure buy-in and achievement of business and customer objectives alike is essential for the Corporate Sales Manager to be successful in achieving their KPI’s.
This is a large region to manage, time management and flexibility is essential, as occasional overnight stays may be required. You’ll be based from home and will be given a complete home working kit.

About You
As a passionate and determined Corporate Sales Manager, you’ll have proven ability to bring in new business. We operate a “hunter farmer” model and expect you to drive new business as well as support, develop and maximise your existing portfolio.
You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to operate as a strategic business partner, within a corporate environment to be really successful in this role.
It’s all about being credible operating at that more senior level where you are working in partnership with customers. Helping them to maximise return from budgets and support them in fulfilling their electrification strategy. Arval Beyond
You must be able to build lasting relationships effortlessly. Customers will quickly welcome you, seeking your support and advice. Whether talking to external customers or internal stakeholders, your natural charm and influencing skills make you instantly likable.
Finally, we need a strategic thinker. Someone able to take a long-term view for the customer and Arval. You must be able to appreciate budgets and feel comfortable being empowered to make decisions on cost.
Key Skills required:
- Good commercial acumen and strategic vision
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Expert planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Sales focused and target driven
- Good understanding of the Leasing industry and Dealer environment.
Experience in leasing would be fantastic, however we’ll consider candidates from outside the industry meeting our specific criteria.
